There has been a significant rule change at the District level that all Travel and Rec Plus parents and players need to be aware of. This message is being posted on the WSC website and emailed to all parents and players that are registered on the website. Please make sure to forward this message to any family members that are not receiving it directly.
Unfortunately, from time to time we have a situation where someone loses perspective and forgets that our games are being played by children for them to learn and grow and have fun. It is easy to get caught up in the passion of the game, but there is no excuse for inappropriate behavior.
Because of the negative impact of this small minority, the SW District has adopted new, stringent rules regarding inappropriate behavior by players, parents, spectators, coaches or others that are in attendance at a SW District sanctioned event. The WSC will follow this rule to the letter. In addition to any actions taken by the SW District, anyone acting inappropriately at a WSC event is also subject to action by the WSC Disciplinary Committee as per the Club's Code of Conduct.
Please read the message below from the District and let me know if you have any questions regarding it.

At last night's SWD meeting the following was approved through the membership:
Discipline versus spectators;
First offense, spectator will not be allowed to attend the next two games of similar competition. If spectator attends these two games, it will constitute a second ejection. If there is a second ejection of a spectator from a team, then that team loses all of its home games and will pay all referee fees. A second ejection may also result in forfeiture of league games. It is up to the Club to monitor the spectators and to insure ejected spectators do not attend games. A club will be referred to the SWD Disciplinary Committee for failure to monitor the spectators' behavior and suspension.
Notification:
All players, coaches and team representatives who are ejected will have their last name, club affiliation, and date and location of the ejection placed on the district website.
The district clubs in attendance last night approved the above unanimously.
