The Weston Soccer Club, Inc. is a private, nonprofit organization managed by volunteers. The Club delivers quality age and skill-appropriate soccer programs to boys and girls grades Pre-K through 12 and adults in Weston, Connecticut.
The Weston Soccer Club is pleased to extend our successful Junior Academy program to our first grade players.
The program is designed for children who are in 1st grade.
The First graders practice in skill-appropriate groups either one or twice a week.
Girls and Boys are separated for practices and games
The First graders will generally scrimmage with other First graders on Saturday mornings, although there may be occasions where it is appropriate for some First graders to scrimmage with Second graders.
At this level, we try to create "balanced" teams.
2 seasons: Fall and Spring (separate registration)

Tuesdays and Fridays (optional). Boys play separately from girls.
For the safety of our players, please review the snack policy found on the left side of our web page.

Saturday mornings. The program consists of 8 sessions.
First graders scrimmage separately from Second graders on Saturday mornings, although there may be occasions where it is appropriate for some First graders to scrimmage with Second graders.
Typically, each team will have approximately 30 minutes of fun drills and instruction by the professional coach, followed by small-sided games.
Parent volunteers are present to assist the professional coaches.
The Saturday morning games are not a drop-off program. A parent, or guardian who is at least 18 years old, must remain at the field.
Location: Morehouse Farm Park on Field Area #1 and #2. More specific field locations will be sent by email before the season starts and/or posted each week at the Morehouse shed.
Registration is online only and is a 2-step process: Registration and Payment
Both steps must be completed for your child to be placed on a team.
Please be sure to provide cell phone numbers for use on the emergency contact list kept at practices.
UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT:
Weston Soccer Club reversible jerseys are worn during all Saturday games, but are not necessary at practices
Jerseys are ordered during the registration process and picked up at the registration table during the first session. (You do not need to purchase a new jersey if your child has one from a prior season)
Players must wear cleats, shin guards, bring #3 ball (labeled clearly with player's name on it) and water.
Players must remove all jewelry including watches, necklaces and bracelets
Since the Weston Soccer Club is a volunteer organization, it is mandatory that at least one parent or adult guardian volunteer for a duty; this is done on the registration form
"Practice Parents" are present for each boys and girls practice. They are there to assist with any bumps or scrapes that may occur during the practice. They have an emergency contact list, should it be required.
