Overview
Instead of having separate 3rd grade Travel and Rec Plus programs, we have one 3rd grade programs for all players, divided only by gender. There will be no tryouts where some children are "cut" from the travel team. We feel the children should not go through this process at this age and we try to eliminate the labeling of players who do not make the Travel team. There are no tryouts but space is limited on teams so it is advisable to sign up early. We use every effort to ensure fair placement to create balanced teams and competitive play. Specific teammate requests can not be considered in forming teams.  Only players who have paid will be placed on teams.
Practices are twice a week under the supervision of professional coaches. Games will be played on Saturdays on a Weston field or one of the nearby towns. We have roughly 8 games per season and play 8 vs. 8 (including the goalkeeper) on a small sided field. We try to keep the teams fairly small, between 12-15 kids, so everybody gets a lot of playing time. We feel this is the most important part, as the kids make the transition from the 2nd grade program. The Rec Plus league does not keep official scores or standings, it’s all about learning the game and having fun!

Costs
The cost of the program is $265. Registration fees are non-refundable once the season begins. Partial refunds ($35 is non refundable) are given with a doctor's note or if moving or if withdrawn prior to beginning of season.

Parent Participation
The Club operates through the involvement and commitment of its member families. In order to ensure the quality of its programs, the Club now requires that all members participate in Club operations through selection of defined jobs. No registration, walk-in or mail-in, will be accepted without a job selection. A wide variety of opportunities are available to meet all possible schedules of Club members. They include jobs at the following levels:
